Job description

We are seeking a general labourer with possibilities to grow into a career as a wastewater technician. We are looking for someone willing to learn all about the wastewater industry.

Your responsibilities on our team:

∙ Assisting with installations of wastewater treatment system

∙ Operation and Maintenance of established treatment plants

What You Bring to the Position:

• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and materials such as, drills, Sawzall, pipe threader, glue, etc.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Work outdoors in various conditions

• Completion of daily paperwork in a timely and legible manner

• Creating material lists and keeping track of tools and time required for jobs

• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications

• Keeping work van stocked, organized and clean

• Operation of company vehicle in accordance with established safety procedures

• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract

• Ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines

• Plumbing and/or service technician experience in wastewater treatment an asset but not required

• Forklift experience an asset

• Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position

• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30 PM, Overtime will be required at times
